self-portrait of a girl at werk

21st century digital girl.

I try to keep it interesting.

I take self-portraits, pictures of urban vinyl/designer/import toys, and have a fondness for the macro. I like the cute and the amusing. I'm not so much interested in close-ups of flowers and bugs.

I prefer not to crop my pictures; I tend to take my time in framing each picture so I don't have to.

I have a second Flickr account here for random candids, scans, pictures others have taken of me, and pictures from the cell phone that you may or may not find interesting.

I have been a fan of Zannah's since the late 90's and she just gets better over time! Her perspective is thought-provoking.

If you want to see pictures of toys you can look just about anywhere on Flickr. But if you want to see pictures of toys so insanely cute they could only be produced in an anime-style, you have to come to Zannah. She has a knack for posing the toys or framing the photo that really brings them to life. My favorite as I write this testimonial is www.flickr.com/ph... where she has arranged the toys as if they were going to play bball on the court and they would kick your arse if they weren't so diminuative. Seriously, she has mastered this artform so if you like to see toys photographed as if they were people, add her as a contact.
