One of the wonderful possibilities on Flickr is the chance to get to know someone you would never have met in "real life". I met Captain Creepy and I'm very glad I did. In spite of his name his shots are not always creepy, unless you are afraid of things like deer or other beautiful specimens of nature. He seems to have a lot of rather bony friends and relations whom he generously shoots and shares with his Flickr friends. A very fine sense of humour is another of his virtues which I enjoy very much. I always love to get Capt.'s comments to my pics, another area where he is very generous and positive, and I am so very lucky that he likes my weirdest photos, which are the kind I love the most. I am very happy to have met Captain Creepy, he is a great guy and the perfect Flickr Friend.

Whenever I visit Captain Creepy photostream is like watching a new movie. His shots are amongst the more original I've seen on flickr until now, they are intense, particular, optimally composed and they often denote a good sense of humor... I must admit he's a source of inspiration for me, I'd like to take unique photos like he does. Moving around creating such creepy movie sets and spooky characters must be pure fun, not simply photography. Selfishly I hope he goes on like that, to keep Flickr alive and interesting.

But though there may be no real creep behind the images, there is a lot of talent. Cap'n is a great technician with a great imagination. Some of his SOOC stuff is pretty stunning, and his creepy stuff is nice and creepy. He's achieved a good balance and variety in his stream, and that's not easy.
