Trained as a Mathematician and Physicsist (B.Sc in Math & Physics from Tel Aviv University and M.Sc in Theoretical Physics from Weizmann Institute of Science, and Ph.D. in Mathematics in Tel Aviv University) I always practiced art alongside science. Since high-school I'm writing Gothic ficition and Gothic poetry.

 

I started to photograph in 2006 when I got my first digital camera. I have taken photography courses in ShirArt Academy (basic + advance) and Galitz Photography School (advance + Photoshop).

 

After more than six years of flawless, loyal and dependable service of the excellent Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-50 I upgraded in 2014 to Nikon D7100 DSLR. I still keep my good old Lumix, though.

 

My favorite areas of photography are nature (flowers (visit My Best Flowers photography), animals wildlife and landscapes), bulldozers and heavy equipment, architecture, Gothic photography and beautiful ladies.

 

Other areas of interest are Mathematics, Physics, Gothic architecture, military and counter-terrorism, dionsaurs and particularly Triceratops , zoology, botany (flowers), reading and of course the IDF Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozer.

My Photo of Fresh Red Anenone Coronaria has won 1st place in Planet Earth Flowers contest of April 2013. My photo of Duck and Chicks won 1st place in Flickr's Planet Earth Animals/Birds contest of April 2013. My photo of Grossglockner High Alpine Road won 1st place in Flickr's Planet Earth Our Home contest of July 2014. My photo of Floor and Hallway in Jerusalem won 1st place in Flickr's Planet Earth Architecture contest of October 2014. My photo of Honey Bee on an Oxalis pes-caprae won 1st place in Flickr's Planet Earth Macro World contest of June 2015. My photo of Protaetia cuprea ignicollis (Copper Beetle) won 1st place in Flickr's Planet Earth Bees Butterflies and Insects contest of November 2015.

  

My photo of IDF Caterpillar D9 was featured in Guinness World Records, 2014 Edition (to illustrate the IDF D9 being the world's most armored bulldozer). Respect!
