Me and Zach have collaborated together since the end of summer 2008 and his photos never fail to impress and amaze. His images provoke questions and unashamedly celebrate the absurd and extremes of life, which our left brain ordinarily filters out, but he brings our focus back to it. I think with Zach he makes us pay attention to things in a different way, and to some people they may seem quite random and silly, but they are actually very clever, because they are just more extreme versions of our daily experiences crystallized into a visual statement. His photos are full of life, comedy, frivolity, extremity, and above all he captures the human condition and creates a map of our psyche. His work begs answers about beauty, self vanity and the ridiculousness of it all. I'm proud to have worked with him and to call him a friend. In photography, I normally look to be surprised, touched, informed, entertained, inspired, etc. Some people manage to do one, maybe two at once. Well, ever since I found Zach's photostream, I've become a regular and an unconditional fan, because in his pics you get the whole deal. Not only is he one of the most creative people I've met visually and conceptually, but he's a bold, ironic and brave artist who fears nothing if it serves his work. You'll be surprised and you'll be shocked sometimes, but overall you'll never be bored or disappointed, and most probably you'll leave Zach's page with a HUGE smile on.

there is no one like zach out in this world, truly... he lives in his own world. and he takes that slice of life that he sees and through the lens (TTL) transports us into what delusions he creates. his work borders on a psychotic episode meets divine beauty. his sense of humor, no wait (he's Brittish), his sense of HUMOUR is outstanding, and no matter how bad my day might be going, just seeing what he uploads, always brings a smile to my face. so get in line, ugh.. not again, he's a bloddy BRIT JACK!, so, get in the queue and get your tickets now. Because Zach is the shining star of the Universe, and ask him sometime, his favorite song to sing while shooting macro shots, is God Save the Queen! i will always respect this man who brings so much creativity to his work and shares it with the world. he sits in an office all day thinking about what horror he can put his partner Andy through when he gets home.
