Passionate social worker and an amateur shutterbug – that in a nutshell is me. With a background in commerce and experience of 12 years in marketing, I founded the Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, Mastichak, Bihar, which has become the largest eye hospital in eastern India in just 8 years.My vision - to eradicate curable blindness in Bihar by 2020 and empower women to achieve this. The hospital offers world-class eye care services in the rural heartland despite the absence of supporting eco-systems.I actively leads to provide equal opportunities to girls from rural Bihar and my team’s vision runs the education through football programme, a unique talent creation initiative at the eye hospital which aims to tackle child marriage and other social challenges by providing an alternative to girls with the ultimate objective to create girl role models at the local level. Football to eyeball is my mantra.
