I am a veterinarian originally from Costa Rica. I live in Santa Clara, California from 1996 to 2020 and in September 2020, we moved to Arlington, Virginia.

I have been shooting for 20 years, mostly birds, but I also enjoy to photograph Mammals, Amphibians, Reptiles, Invertebrates and Landscapes.

Every year I organize a couple of trips to exotic destinations.

So far, I have photographed 1450 species of birds from Costa Rica, Cuba, Canada, USA, Mexico, Spain, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, India, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
