YOUTH SERVICE AMERICA is a nonprofit resource center founded in 1986 that partners with thousands of organizations committed to increasing the quality and quantity of volunteer opportunities for young people, ages 5-25, to serve locally, nationally, and globally. YSA envisions a global culture of engaged youth who are committed to a lifetime of service, learning, leadership, and achievement. We work to encourage and mobilize the energy, commitment, idealism, and experience of young people while highlighting their community contributions. In order to do this, we recognize these special people through awards and grants which are made possible through our committed team members, donors, and partnerships.
