I'm a Midwestern artist with my head in the clouds. An Oklahoma native and recent graduate from Ball State University with a BFA in Drawing, I've exhibited in several galleries around Indiana and I'm looking to branch out from there. I've received awards from a handful of juried art shows, including the John P. Gee Drawing Award during Ball State's 2008 Student Art Show and 1st Place in the Photography category of the React to Art competition.

My cartoon-like imagery is inspired by the imaginative worlds of authors like Lewis Carroll and Chuck Palahniuk as well as contemporary comic book artists such as Chris Bachalo and Adrian Alphona. I also consider music to be equally inspirational, drawing from artists like the Dresden Dolls, AFI, Fiona Apple, Muse, and the Birthday Massacre among others. I work most often with drawing, photography and painting, usually combining mixed media.
