My name is Herb Dunn and I hale from Bakersfield, CA but live in Carrollton, GA and my heart lives in Yosemite National Park. I have been involved with photography since 1971 and spent a considerable amount of time in Yosemite as a child growing up. My grandmother had a piece of property in Wawona until her death.Some of the photography related web sites I can be found on (other than this one) are P.O.T.N. or Photography-On-The.Net, OutdoorEyes.com, CaliforniaPhotoForum.com. I love hiking and backpacking and have hike nearly 200 of the 800 miles of trails within Yosemite but now my disability prohibits me from backpacking :(

I've known "YosemiteJunkie" (AKA Herb Dunn) since we first posted at the HalfDomeCam.com back in the '90s. Then I had an opportunity to finally meet him and my family when we camped near Yosemite for the weekend. He's always "shooting" something, be they animals, people, events or the mountains. I especially love looking through his Yosemite photos. He certainly has some talent there for sure. He is a great friend and I hope to see him again soon!
