Its modular buildings are manufactured and pre-fitted out off site in a state-of-the-art production facility and tailored to specific project requirements.

Modular construction is also a more sustainable approach than conventional site-based building methods, offering enhanced thermal efficiency and reductions in material waste and vehicle movements of up to 90 per cent.

The Yorkon steel-framed building system allows the creation of 12m clear internal spans up to six storeys high and with unrivalled architectural variety for the external envelope. The fact that more than 70 per cent of Yorkon’s business is from repeat customers is further evidence of its success.

Its latest innovations include the award-winning high performance floor – a pre-installed concrete floor option developed for modular buildings with areas of high footfall, heavy point loading or to accommodate sensitive equipment. It is now believed to be the highest performing floor available for any modular building.
