He is the eternal teacher, never slow to share something he knows - and believe me, I've been up and down a few of the roads with Rob, he knows a lot! I can also attest to the fact that if you hear something that sounds arrogant you heard it wrong. Rob has the skill to be arrogant but he is the farthest thing from it. If you need to know, Rob is the go-to guy on several topics and a lot of fun even if he doesn't know... which he will tell you if he doesn't. He loves to share his knowledge and dept of photograph and I have always tried to absorb as much of that knowledge from him. He is a really good person, and awesome photographer and he always make me jealous with this Nikon 70-200 shots.

Rob is a Quiet Presence in the Raleigh flickr meetup group, which is where I finally met him, after noticing his photos with the flickrname, Miracle Man. Now Who wouldn't want to meet a guy with that ambitious-sounding handle? Turns out his name IS Miracle! He lives up to his name in the unassuming photographs he makes of pretty much whatever amuses him at any moment... exploring Beauty in a sidewalk garden or exposing Time in it's flow around a pair of feet in the surf... - Little Miracles (ahem). I have watched him sharing studio lighting information with those new to such things.. and have seen him sharing his quiet sense of fun during a recent meetup portrait session. ..in a word..
