I've been meaning to write a testimonial for Yves for awhile now and after much thought and practice, I'm finally ready to say all that I wanted to say about this amazingly talented man. Yves heart and sensitivity to humanity can be seen through his photos and the amazing slide show that he did for LOVE_LensOfVisionExpression. The act of creating art goes beyond self expression, Yves obviously is aware of this and used his creativity to create an awareness about the injustice of our world. Yves is a man with many artistic talents. As a photographer, he is able to see/bring out the beauty in the simplest of things. Then adding to aesthetics, he artfully creates great atmosphere with his processes which further gives emotional quality to his images. And that sets him apart from many other photographers. Look at his images of a simple branch or a twig, and you'll know what I mean. Apart from being an excellent photographer, he is also a very gifted musician/composer - check out his ipernity/myspace pages. As a person, Yves is honest, sincere, kind and generous. And I consider myself very lucky to call him friend, and to get the gift of a video slideshow of my work put together by him - one can fully witness his acute sensitivity for music & imagery on display in the way he assembled it, not forgetting his dedication, pride and professionalism in the way he does his work.
