Yimou is a genius, every picture he made cataches eyeballs

yimou is great.. because he is everywhere with his camera. I like his raw quality of his street work. He is down-to-earth, diligent and a great photographer.

Kertestz was in Paris. Yimou is in Shanghai. Documentary photo, street photo is not a easy job. Maybe the most difficult speciality in photography. And Yimou take street photos in Shanghai with amazing masterliness!. Bravo!.

Hands down one of my favorite FLICKR pages. Yimou has an incredible eye for composition; his images are breathtaking, at times heartbreaking, but always filled with so much life. Being able to capture such beautiful moments, he too must have a beautiful, caring soul.

Yimou, your work is excellent. Your B&W works are comparable to those of photojournalism masters. I love the way you present the day to day events in such a wonderful way. Please continue to do such a great production.

I've just known him recently, but he's got really good eyes, senses, determination, and consistency, of course. I feel yimou's photos are underrated for most of flickr users, but it's ok...it's not the most important. The most important is he keeps taking and sharing his vision of life :)
