Scottish, female, irregularly self employed, utilising the scatter gun approach to photography.

I take pictures of my cats a lot, I'm trying to break the habit and take pictures of other things but really I fully expect that 90% of the pictures stored here will be of one or other of my cats. They are cute though, if that helps.

On 18th July 2007 I decided to take part in 365days which is a challenge to take a self portrait every day for a year, I'm hoping that this will encourage me to get more creative with my pictures and improve generally, wish me luck!

As of August 2008 I completed my task.

In September 2008 I decided that I missed the rigidity of the daily picture and decided to start out on Project365 which is similar to 365days except not specifically self portraits, this time around I am also being a lot more relaxed regarding the evil photoshop and I have allowed a bit more cropping, straightening and even some 'shopping to achieve a certain look. In a strange sense it feels like I am going backwards, I started off as a real purist andas time has gone on I am being drawn to the 'dark side' while others around me have found themselves going in the other direction. Interesting.
