The Yeo Gallery was founded by Kai Wen, a graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Film and Media Studies. He majored in Print Journalism, Photojournalism, and Documentary Production.

With a great passion in journalism, he garnered encouraging support from lecturers and overseas news reporters from the Wall Street Journal during his study term.

Kai Wen helped pioneer Ngee Ann Polytechnic's first media conglomerate, managing a team of writers and photographers on campus. He is also a media correspondent for the Singapore Press Holdings, making photos, videos, and articles for the Chinese News Department and Omy.sg.

He has great passion in using the media as a channel to showcase and tell stories of the human condition. His expertise in photojournalism has seen him producing thought-provoking photographs for a local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Lien Aid.

The Yeo Gallery curently offers multimedia services in Singapore, and is often approached by schools, corporate companies, and event organisers to help create visually appealing media collaterals.

Hello there! Ever since I got to know Kai Wen, I've realised that he is a person with an incredulously dedicated and passionate work ethic, focused on completing whatever task that he is entrusted with on hand. He is, by very large means, in an entirely different league of teenage photographers out there, not only because of experience and expertise, but rather because his consistent passion for his craft and a very refreshingly earnest yearning to do better. Teens like Kai Wen are hard to find nowadays and I'm intensely honoured to know a photographer like him. Besides this, I also notice that he is a person that exudes, however subtly, a humble disposition in more ways than one. His charming (although at times corny) and affable personality make him a very warm person and a sociable personality. A devout Christian, he also never fails to not be derailed by the distractions that detract so many others our age. He instead, chooses to be grounded in his principles and values, of which he has deep passion and conviction for. A rarity indeed! I must say, once again, that I am very very honoured to know him as a fellow photographer, a fellow friend, and most of all, a fellow brother in Christ. God Bless, Chris Lim
