I love to quilt, sew, and stitch! I love tradition quilt patterns made up in modern fabrics and bright colors.

I am so in love with Jane Brocket's "The Gentle Art of Quiltmaking" and adore the Kaffe Fassett, Martha Negley, and Phillip Jacobs fabrics she mixes and matches in her quilts...the whole vintage made modern feel =0) My other favorite quilt books are Material Obsession One and Two, and Quilting From Little Things.

I also love modern fabrics in bright colors from Tula Pink (her fabrics are dreamy!), Anna Maria Horner, Denyse Schmidt, Heather Ross, Amy Butler, and Heather Bailey to name a few! I really like soft lines, curves, florals, and toiles...but NOT fabrics that are overly "square" or too geometrical. I especially love the bright fun colors and floral patterns of Jennifer Paganelli. Add a little bit of crocheted lace and a vintage button and I am swooning ;D Alexander Henry's whimsical fabrics also make me smile.

My latest fabric love is with the Australian designers Saffron Craig and Ink & Spindle ~ brilliant! I also really like Japanese Import Fabrics like Echino, Kokka, Lecien and especially Nani Iro.

I really can't choose one favorite color way, but I love white or natural linen paired with jewel tones or brights.

Love all things with a Scandinavian or woodlands theme...how could you not???

And finally I am a Jane Austen fanatic (really I am a book worm) and love all things British ~ especially union jacks, Liberty of London, and a strong cuppa with lots of honey and milk! And I love my Emma Bridgewater mug collection too!
