Zehn Jahre Flickr – und kein bisschen müde. Ich bin Gerd Michael Kozik alias Yarin Asanth – leidenschaftlicher Landschaftsfotograf, Frühaufsteher aus Überzeugung und Liebhaber stiller Momente.

Meine Kamera ist mein drittes Auge, mein Stativ mein geduldiger Begleiter – oft irgendwo am Wasser, im Nebel oder auf einem Felsen in der Morgendämmerung. Ich fotografiere nicht, um Menschen zu zeigen, sondern um ihre Abwesenheit spürbar zu machen. Die Natur hat ihre eigene Sprache, ihre Poesie – und ich versuche, ihr zuzuhören.

Ob mit der Drohne über thailändische Inseln oder mit der Sony am Bodensee: Jedes Bild erzählt eine Geschichte. Nicht perfekt, aber echt. Nicht laut, aber voller Gefühl.

Wenn Du in meinen Fotos für einen Moment innehältst, nachspürst oder Dich erinnerst – dann hat sich alles gelohnt.

Yarin Asanth – Photography driven by passion

Ten years on Flickr – and still going strong.

I’m Gerd Michael Kozik, a.k.a. Yarin Asanth – landscape photographer, sunrise chaser, and lover of quiet moments.

My camera is my third eye, my tripod a loyal companion – often found near lakes, cliffs, or in the mist of early morning light. I don’t photograph people. Not because I don’t like them – but because nature has its own story to tell, in its own silent, poetic way.

Whether it’s a drone flight over Thai islands or a sunrise at Lake Constance with my Sony – every image carries a memory. Not perfect, but honest. Not flashy, but full of emotion.

If one of my photos makes you pause, reflect, or feel something – then it’s all been worth it.
