Don Henderson has a knack for capturing often seen, but barely noticed objects/buildings/scenes. I especially love his talent for shooting the city. Whether he is using atmospheric situations to harness light or driving and snapping shots while in traffic, I often am captivated by his ability to recognize beauty in seemingly bland or for some, ugly scenes. He has a penchant for putting a little spark of life back into public spaces that have been left to decay. He recognizes the necessity at times to highlight the history of an area with the images of current spectrum. It's with great privilege that I know and witness his work.
