I enjoy participating with all of you in the flickr community. Your skills and imagination inspire me to keep learning and experimenting. Flickr provides a ‘Visual Community’ for me. My photos/videos mostly revolve around my interests, travels, things that catch my attention when i am ‘out-and-about’. I write a little, that is my other creative outlet.

I was raised by two artists who worked in many mediums, photography was one of them, so i try to apply the principles of ‘The Language of Vision’ from what i ‘picked up’ from growing-up with them. The passion for art is ‘in my blood’, so-to-speak so the camera provides an ‘outlet’ for that. This App enables me to share with you much that is of interest to me, or that makes me laugh or creates within me a sense of awe. I can also travel with you through your photos, get to know a little about you. Like many of you, sometimes i hope to share, through a photograph and perhaps its caption, something of what i was feeling at the time, or share something that i thought would be of interest to someone else. Sometimes I need to share a new awareness of humanitarian ‘need’, or, how cruel we can be to ‘the other’ whom we do not even know. If you, like me, are saddened or angered by the man-made ugliness around us, you may want to share the encouragement of natural God-created beauty, design, purpose, love and human compassion and kindness, the reminders of which restore hope and bring about healing. That, i believe, can be a simple but important effect of art and photography.
