I have lived in Illinois all of my life. From Red Bud to Woodstock, Macomb to Kankakee. Birds and insects have always been a part of my interest in nature. Most of the bird pics are from my backyard.

Here in Bourbonnais, I live on a migration route near the Kankakee River. Birds are attracted to my yard through feeding, habitat, and I make them feel welcome. Enjoy my nature shots and stories.
