I am a self taught embroidery artist and I work with my daughter to create Lady Jane Longstitches on Etsy where we sell all the compulsive things that we create. We craft snarky and sweet, modern and vintage, and curses and niceties. Basically we call ourselves properly improper. We simply do not have enough hours in the day to stitch all the ridiculousness that enters our brains. It is a supreme form of anger management mixed with the ennui of modern life.
