I don't like calling myself a photographer, the term has become such a blanket way of saying that one takes pictures. Is someone who picks up a guitar and hits the strings a musician? I like taking photographs, it's what I enjoy... I don't do it to create art or have some huge impact on people's consciousness. Instead I watch the earth create its own art and I merely attempt to capture it the best I can so that the beauty of that moment never dies, and instead can be relived by others.
