Amateur enthusiast.

Currently I photograph in digital with whatever I have on hand: mirrorless camera, DSLR, compact camera or cell phone.

I started with black and white photography in college, where I learned how to develop film and paper.

My friends jokingly called me "radical" because I always had an inclination towards more classic images (landscape, portrait, and fine art).

Then I switched to a digital 4MP Canon Powershot G2 and, when prices became "reasonable", a Canon 10D DSLR.

On Flickr since 2005, I photographed for some years until I lost interest with the explosion of images on the internet – when everyone points a cell phone at everything and takes pictures of everything all the time, why add to the noise?...

I rekindled my passion in the summer of 2025 with a new camera, lenses, and an A3 printer - new gear always peaks the interest in a hobby. right?!...

However, the question constantly haunts me: "Why photograph?"

I'm currently in the process of culling and reorganizing my Flickr albums, which were used as dumping place and left untouch for years.
