My name is Xel Moore and I am a graphic designer in Portland Oregon.

Rogue student majoring in wizardry!

I do what interests me. I have experimented in a few art mediums like painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, bookbinding, old lady hand craft scrapbook shit, and cake decorating. If I see something that looks like fun I usually give it a try.

I like to draw and illustrate. I also enjoy playing with typography and page layout, bookbinding, crafting with my hands, and I silk screen every chance I get. My process is detail oriented and focused. I strive for perfection and never let myself get too upset when I can't reach it.

I was born and lived in a small beach town in Southern California for the first half of my life. I moved to Portland in 2002 and love this city more and more everyday that I spend here. I know my life will be full of fantastic adventures so I can't say that I will end up anywhere in particular. But for now Portland suits me.

I am a high school drop out living with no regrets. My experience with education was a grueling one back then but luckily I found something in college that could actually hold my attention long enough for me to retain something of value. I graduated from Portland State University with a bachelor of science in graphic design in 2013.

My art is something great. My art is weird. My art is understandably stupid. I have found that if you expect to much from what you create you will undoubtably fall on your face. Trial and error is a process that teaches.
