My Photography Bio..

~ My pictures are Bright, Colorful, Open Minded, Sometimes Dreamy, Very Inclusive & Always Positive. The greatest strength of my work would be capturing portraits - displaying human emotion in personal situations, private situations, crowd shots, shots from a DJ's perspective, and moments in time to be remembered.

I've been shooting events and festivals for six or seven years now; it's what I'm most comfortable doing, what I feel compelled to do. I tend to cover angles and perspectives that other photographers don't see. I love capturing moments between people that are otherwise lost; I love black & white photography, HDR and capturing character in the human form. I also love taking pictures of DJs and i've had a lot of experience.

When I started to take pictures six years ago, I always wanted to give something back to other DJs, having been a DJ myself for the last 10 years. I've always thought that photography is a great gift to give back to the electronic music community. I have learned a lot about on-stage, set, and night & flash photography since I picked up my first SLR. I haven't gone to school for photography yet but I have had eight years of experience and self-training behind the lens. Next year I will strap myself down to the books and look into photo journalism. Currently I work with a Canon 5D and a Canon 7D. I have a few lenses: a 17-40 1/4 L Series, an 85 mm 1/2 (my prized portrait lens), and a 50mm 1/4.
