I started my photography journey when the first camera phones came out around 2004...I even have some of the 0.3mp pics I took back then which aren't much more than little squares!
I picked up my first camera in around 2005, a 7MP Lumix compact, and then eventually replaced that with the Canon 40D; the start of a giant learning curve. Back then, I was always getting out and about, learning the craft a little, and even sold a few pieces! As Smartphones improved, I found myself taking the camera out less and less, and eventually sold all my kit which was a mistake!
I'm getting the photography bug again so the Smartphone has been out a lot, and now I'm camera shopping! I've a Sony RX10iv on loan and it's completely brought me back in. My, how times and tech changes! Mirrorless LCD images are a game changer.
I hope you enjoy my pictures. Any comments are greatly appreciated, negative or constructive.
All the best, Alex.
