After 45 years of working, I have retired. I like to work with my hands. I enjoy people and what they have to share. So much can be learned and appreciated if we listen. I enjoy telling or listening to a good story, fiction or non fiction. True stories are usually more exciting and much more entertaining than fiction. My picture interests seem to follow my personal interests. I enjoy documenting a good hobby project, capturing an old building or following a vacation from one end to the other. One of my goals is to keep our home so interesting to my grand children that they want to be here rather than anywhere else. We have six and so far, we see them a lot. It is hard to compete with the mall.

I am a Christian, saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. I am not afraid to share this when it may not be politically correct. It is who I am and it is part of our National Heritage, even if it is now popular to say it is not so.

I am on Flickr to share and not to promote my personal agenda or religion. Seeing the world through the eyes and cameras of others is to gain an insight into the minds and feelings of those behind the viewfinder. The diversity is infinite and the ability to find those with similar observations is unbelievably precise. We are so different, but yet, so much alike. It is time that we explore this paradox with a desire to learn and appreciate, not a desire to bring about conformity at any cost.
