Welcome to Wychbury, I'm Paula Perrins and I have been working as a designer-maker with Wychbury since 2004. Originally from Kidderminster I moved to West Yorkshire in 1994 and now live and work in Bingley, a small but perfectly formed town in the beautiful Aire Valley. This area is steeped in a rich history of textiles and industry with Sir Titus Salt's model village and World Heritage Site, Saltaire at its heart.

All of my pieces are individually designed and handmade by me in my workshop - or anywhere in my home I feel like! My work is inspired by my love of fabrics and sewing and my fascination with historical domesticity, the bygone age when ladies wore hats and gloves, when we threw much less away and when women's skills with a needle and thread sustained comfort and beauty in the home.I love to work with silk flowers, vintage buttons, lace trims and all forms of haberdashery to make my collections of wearable pincushions, floral accessories and jewellery with the nostalgic, romantic feel of days gone by.
