Renowned photographer Elliott Erwitt once said, "To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Photography allows me to express my creativity, while recording the world around me, as I observe it through my camera lens. Living in northern Vermont provides me with wonderful photographic opportunities on nearly a daily basis. I love exploring back roads, and the anticipation that comes from not knowing what I will see around the next corner, or what new discovery I will make in the next town or village. Whether it's a covered bridge, an old tractor, or a classic Vermont farm scene, there is always something interesting to take a picture of.
