Hello!

Even since I picked up a 110 format camera, I have been in love with photography.

I purchased my first SLR in high school and used it to shoot pictures for my high school and college yearbook and newspaper. After graduation, I pretty much put my camera down due to other priorities. Until 2009... when most of the dust settled, and an opportunity presented itself, I bought a DSLR, and I have not looked back since.

Currently, my primary interests are wildlife, sports and nature/landscape. I am always open for different challenges - because with a new set of problem, a new set of skills are developed.

I am a fan of SOOC (straight out of camera) shots - “Get it right the first time” is my motto. Mainly because I would rather be out in the field than sit in front of a computer. I do that all day already for a living and would prefer to take a break from it. Post-processing is necessary, which by the way, is the other half of photography, but the “I will fix it in Photoshop” line should only comes in when you can recognize a scene and know it is easier to be done in software than during shoot.

Happy shooting.
