When I stop and think about how to describe myself, I am first a wife, mother, grandmother (nana), daughter, sister, and friend. As you can tell I am very family oriented. This is a very important part of my life. I work as a customer service representative, so I enjoy helping people. I enjoy cooking, fishing, camping, travelling, spending time with my granddaughter (Caitlin) and of course photography.

I really enjoy photography, never really got into film cameras, guess the whole process of waiting to get film developed just wasn't fast enough for me. I wanted to see results immediately.

So when the world of digital photography opened up for me it was so exciting. I, of course, started with a point and shoot, which was great. Then wanted something a little more challenging and started up the ladder with my growth in the digital camera world.

When my husband told me to start shopping for an SLR, oh I studied and looked and finally got my first "big" camera, I got the Canon XT, I since sold it and moved up to the Canon XTI and I love it.

With the help of many in our area, we formed the Harrison County Photography Club, which I am now the president I look forward to each monthly meeting, there is always something to learn, from a guest speaker or just a sharing session.

Living in West Virginia is a real asset, we have such a beautiful state to photograph. Our seasons provides so many beautiful sites, that it is a photographers dream world.

My granddaugher who is now 11 and the owner of a Nikon D50 and I get in the car and just start driving and we play a photography game "Call Your Shot." When we see something that strikes us, the first one to point it out, gets the shot. We have so much fun on our road trips and see many beautiful sites, or we think so.

As you look though our photostreams we only hope that you enjoy the many sites as we did.

As you make your way through Flickr, please stop by and visit the photostream of "WVDkiddz" & " "Caitlin Stout" and the many beautiful works of the members of the Harrison County Photography Club.
