The Office of Multi-Cultural Affairs (OMA) will promote an all-inclusive global diversity at Wichita State University. Such community will be anchored in a campus climate that is inviting, welcoming, supportive, caring, and nurturing; one in which its citizens, regardless of their human and socio-cultural differences, can co-exitst in harmony. In addition, the OMA will serve as a catalyst for promoting a "culture of collective responsibility" for multiculturalization and globalization of Wichita State University. OMA is committed to supporting the overall mission of Wichita State University and will work collaboratively with the University communities to offer year-round all-inclusive, educational, cultural, social, and outreach programs for students, faculty, administrators, and staff that are aimed at achieving Academic Excellence, Institutional Strength, and Campus Unity.
