Welcome to my photo diary! Photography isn't my day job; it's a creative outlet and my favorite way to slow down and explore New York City. My work is an ongoing project to document the quiet, unscripted moments that exist within the chaos of the metropolis, finding poetry in the everyday rhythms of the concrete jungle.I love hunting for interesting light, deep shadows, and geometric patterns around the city. Rather than seeking out loud or chaotic scenes, I am drawn to the natural frameworks of the urban landscape—like scaffolding, subway entrances, and shifting weather patterns—to build depth and a sense of mood in each frame.A big part of my process is pairing modern digital cameras SONY NEX F3 with vintage manual glass, like my old Konica AR 40mm lens. Shooting with legacy lenses forces me to slow down and rely on deliberate composition. It introduces an organic warmth, subtle contrast, and a cinematic, film-like aesthetic that brings out the unique character of the city. Thanks for stopping by my photostream!
