Hello! My name is Chad. I started this account back in 2009 as an amateur photography enthusiast. I posted hot and heavy ... and got burned out or lost my way. I'm not sure what to call it, but I stopped posting. I never stopped shooting, I just stopped sharing. In 2021, after kicking addiction and seeing things through new eyes, I decided to share again. I've kept my oldest posts here. The good, the bad and the ugly. I think they show a nice progression of skill and technique. Please let me know what you think.

A brief history of me. I started with film in 1990. My first digital camera was in 1996 or so. I don't remember what it was. It was a dismal point-and-shoot. Then I worked for a company that had a Fujifilm FinePix S2 Pro ... a "real" digital camera. My eyes were opened to new possibilities. I advanced to a Canon Rebel XT, a Nikon D40X, and an iPhone 3. Then I began to shoot RAW images with a Nikon D40X and a Canon PowerShot G9. I ended up with a Nikon D90 before I stopped sharing my photography. Today I use the D810, and it's incredible.
