WRITE NOW Poetry Society is a new nonprofit organization, co-founded in the Spring of 2008 by actress/writer Amber Tamblyn and poet Mindy Nettifee. The initial goals of the organization are to fundraise for quality poetry programming, support poetry organizations and communities, and build a reputation as a leader in the nonprofit arts. WRITE NOW is dedicated to finding ways to connect audiences and readers with great poets, and championing the kind of heart-breaking soul-easing mind-blowingly good poetry that knows a jugular when it sees one.
