For 35 years I worked in information and cyber security, software assurance, and software engineering. Now I devote my energy to improving my photography, becoming a better poet, and completing my research into my family's history.

Largely self-taught and still learning, I photograph many kinds of subjects using many different styles. Currently, I shoot with a pair of micro 4/3 Lumix cameras, using a collection of Panasonic/Leica and Olympus Pro lenses.

Many, but not all, of my Flickr photos are published under the Creative Commons, Attribution, Non-commercial, No Derivatives (CC-BY-NC-ND) license. Please respect that license when you copy and use my work. I retain all rights to the remaining photos, and many of these are available for personal and commercial use through my portfolio site, Foto Betiko.

I live and pursue photography and my other passions in south eastern Wisconsin.
