I am a miniature collector and artisan. I make miniatures in many scales from 1:144th to 1:6th Scale in many styles: Mid-Century Modern, Traditional, Contemporary, Hollywood Regency, and Cottage Chic. My favorite by far is Mid Century Modern. I also make real life home decor items. I opened an Etsy shop in 2011. I love sharing the hobby with other miniature enthusiasts and enjoy their Flickr photos.

I am a Marvel fanatic and love collecting action figures as well as Barbies. (And a whole lot of other miniature-related stuff.)

I also love all muscle cars old and new. I had a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang when I was younger, and I still dream I'm driving that car. I always planned to get another one, but other things became priorities. If I ever strike it rich, I'm buying another. ;)

I am open-minded and devoted to equality and human rights. My favorite word is 'kind'.

My husband (My dream guy still!) and I devote most of our time to our six children and one grandson, and I work part-time as a gymnastics coach as well. Life is usually very, very busy!

I am not a master photographer, but I enjoy taking photos. My favorite thing about Flickr is the community of photographers, collectors, artists, and travelers, etc.

My username, wpnschick, does not mean I'm a homicidal mercenary. ;) I was in the Air Force and worked with weapons and on aircraft weapons systems. As the only girl in the shop (women were very rare in that field at the time), my co-workers sometimes referred to me as "weapons chick." It just kind of stuck. My best friend was a police officer, and her username was "cruiserchick," so it was a perfect choice for me.
