I've waited much too long to write this. I was afraid I would not do justice to Wouter. I am simply in awe of his work. The first peices I saw were BW minimalism - not really minimalism but images stripped down to their essence, as meditative and quiet as they are beautiful. All about the light - curved, moving and as subtle as breathe. Then I saw his color images. I don't know how he does it - they are stunning without being harsh or overly saturated. In the end the thing that impresses me most is Wouter's infallible skill in composition. It seems as though he might not even have to think about it when he shoots, a never miss innate talent. I could go on forever but nothing speaks like the work itself. I'm just passing on my thoughts - see for yourself.
