Photographer is one of my favorite word from an etymology perspective. From the Greek words Photos + Graphein – it literally means the one who writes with light.

This captures perfectly what draws me into photography, the interplay with light, the sudden capture of a fleeting moment, the intent to tell the beginning of a story.

I’m still in the process of defining my personal style and drawn by a broad variety of subjects. I also really enjoy a process of ‘deep seeing’ which is to pause and really look at a place or an object to discover a perspective and beauty into elements that are not necessarily noticeable in the first place.
