My passion is photography, and has been since I was a kid. I like to capture what I see and like to share my passion with others. My favorites are night photography and star trail photography. I can control the light, plus, the night sky is incredibly beautiful with the stars and clouds, and how they frame images like buildings and trees.

I started photography, as many others do, as a novice photographer with professional aspirations. My first camera was a Canon 50d, then I moved on to Nikon and now use a Sony A7riii. At first, my photos were terrible and I quit for a time. I didn't understand the camera’s dials, buttons, lenses, f-stops and other mechanics, or photography basics, such as exposure, composition, framing and lighting. However, through perseverance and the help of YouTube, blogs, and friends, I came to understand the different components of what makes a good photograph. I have a new appreciation for photography as a craft now and continue to expand my portfolio.
