The Workmen’s Circle/Arbeter Ring fosters and promotes a dynamic Jewish identity and participation in Jewish life through Jewish, especially Yiddish, culture and education, friendship, community, and the pursuit of social and economic justice. Founded over 100 years ago by Jewish immigrants in New York City, The Workmen’s Circle offers cutting-edge arts programming, an award-winning summer camp, a national network of children’s schools (shules), and leadership on social justice issues.
