Bess is the kind of girl that you secretly want to be friends with, but are scared to talk to because she seems to be a lot cooler than you. And then once you do talk to her, you find out that she really is cooler than you, but in a friendly and dorky way, so it puts you at ease. Her aesthetic is very colourful-kitsch-wonderful: it surrounds her entirely and makes everything near her interesting to look at.
