About me: shy and reserved on the surface, full of feeling, sometimes passionate, underneath; in constant bemusement and amusement with human affairs; while overwhelmed and grateful that something rather than nothing exists -- i. e. the universe and my own consciousness -- I have no particular belief or explanation as to the purpose or meaning of life other than to grow spiritually by connecting with positive engergies, to develop my personal understanding of important aspects of life, and to experience love and return it.

Interests: human affection; limerence; loyalty; conversation; humor. Also, those individuals or things which touch both my heart and mind; gustatory, sensual, intellectual, visual -- delights of all kinds -- literature, writing, photography, graphic arts, architecture, movies, classical music, chamber music, dance, ethnic music, folk music, jazz, opera, reading, travel, cuisine.

I was in a committed relationship for 44 years until my partner died in 2021.
