I've always loved photography, but have only had a 'proper' camera since December 2013. Since then, I've made a point of taking photos frequently, experimenting with my limited resources - time being the most precious, and sharing photos whenever I can. My equipment so far is a Sony NEX-5T, which has been mostly switched out for an a6000, both with the kit lens (E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS), UV filter, four magnification filters (x1, x2, x4, and x10), and a small tripod. While I shoot mostly with those, I also have E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 OSS and E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS lenses. My wish list includes a really good Macro lens as I gravitate towards the close up shots, but my dream would really be to have a lens that could do macro to distant zoom - pipe dream, I know. While I have Photoshop and Lightroom, my joy really comes from taking the photos and while there are always things I'd like to tweak, the vast majority of the shots you'll see here are edited in-camera only, with the exception being some of the later portraiture I've done, but even that is fairly minimal.
