I'm an independent-minded woolly fiber artist. I currently make my living at dyeing wool fabrics as well as teaching wool art classes. I teach local classes in rug hooking from the civil war era , penny rugs from the colonial period & pincushions & make-dos from the Victorian era. I enjoy making the occasional one-of-a-kind treasures when time allows and my creative mind is in hyper-drive! I love being inspired by my natural surroundings (the colors, textures & light that is ever present in my surrounding woods & meadows) as well as the wildlife that abounds here!
