08/25/22 I'm not posting much on Flickr these days. I now post on iNaturalist under the name of woolcarderbee.

When I first joined Flickr the purpose was to have a site where I could post photos of insects to add to EOL - Encyclopedia of Life. I still use the site for this purpose but now I'm also adding photos of other subjects. Each day provides a little chance to do some travelling via the many beautiful photos posted by all of you on Flickr. Thanks to everyone for posting these wonderful photos.

11/08/18 - Just finished deleting over 1,000 photos to stay under the 1,000 limit. I'll have to be more choosy about what I post from now on and will probably end up deleting old photos to make room for new ones in years to come.

I appreciate the comments and likes and at least try to eventually get around to viewing, liking and occasionally commenting on photos on your site in return although I think I may not be able to get back to everyone anymore. It really is a treat to see all the different photos from around the world. It's like a mini-trip each time I look.
