I'm not very good at writing testimonials since I don't think I've ever written any, or at least any I can remember but this is the least I could do for such a wonderful artist. Even with the number of photographers out in the world, all the pieces and works I've seen - Scott still and always will stand out to me. Sure, it's difficult to be original because we only have so many sources but he manages to do so despite the odds. The way his photos evoke emotions alone is a form of art. It suprises me the way certain emotions hit me when I see a photo of his. With every photo of his I see, I feel like I am peeking into his brain and seeing this image tucked away somewhere quiet. It's so personal and elegant, and always so simple. Not only does he always get the technical aspects dead-on, but he opens your eyes to see the details that most people miss. There is always beauty in everything, and he shows you that. He makes you see things from different perspectives that make your eyes swoon. You only end up wanting to see more, and wanting to get a closer peek into that mind of his. He is a truly talented individual that never ceases to leave me in awe. These words don't really even come close to the amount of respect and admiration I have for Scott, but at least when other artists read this, they have a tiny speck of an idea of how great his work is.

Scott's photography is hard to describe. I could say that they are beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, and the like, and that would all be true, and it is. (What he does with light, composition, and tones is just mind-blowing.) But his photography is more than just visual beauty. Every single one of his photos evokes a strong, powerful emotion--happiness, nostalgia, serenity...There is always an intense feeling and mood behind his photos, and it is for this very reason that he doesn't just take pretty pictures, he takes real pictures. He takes raw feelings and memories and makes them into photos. Scott, you are truly an incredible photographer and I'm so glad to have found you on Flickr. Keep doing what you're doing. :)
