Allison is stunningly gorgeous, has more sheer ability with writing than anyone has a right to, and a gift for creating imagery to match each. I hate her. Not really. Not at all. It just always seems so right to say that when describing someone as triple blessed as her. Then things get weird. I used to read an old, and likely first, blog of hers way back in ancient days 2003. Lost track of her completely when she ducked away. Always wondered what became of her. FOUND HER again by fluke, without knowing her name, anything else about her, nor having any friends in common. As in, how can that possibly happen on something as vast as the internet ocean?

I began dropping by WomanChild's stream very early in my Flickr-izing and after the first viewing of her images and the first reading of her stories I was immediately intrigued, infatuated, insatiable, and filled with longing. Her beautiful mixing of images and words has no equal - and while I am reading, it is as though we walk together for a bit and as I share in her thoughts, she, somehow, seems to be able to see into some of my most intimate places and then raise a mirror for me. WomanChild flowing words are so visual, she might as well be using sign language to theatrically describe a wild & wacky world. Her very vivid & detailed character studies are always so twisted- sometimes humorously, sometimes heartwretching. But never disappoints. The comments she leave behind also has the wonderfully vivid flowing character. Her photos- they are always a sight to behold! It is obvious that she pays as much attention to her image crafting as her words. They're often zen-like in the minimalist way, yet full of thought. She is a true inspiration for so many of us here. :)
