My personality is a clash of an indie rocker, surfer, and philosopher. Of course I don't play any instruments (yet!), surf (yet!), or stand on a soap box and preach (okay, only once). I do love independent music of all sorts and quite frequently mess around with photoshop while under the influence of British Sea Power, Kaiser Cheifs, Elbow, and Explosions in the Sky. For some odd reason I have an obsession with surf culture and the Pacific Northwest. Well.. the Pacific in general actually. I found a new appreciation of art of all kinds when I got bored in Muncie, IN and went for a walk around the campus of Ball State. I happened upon a student art showcase, a studio, and graffiti. I went home grabbed my camera and decided to make my own art.

My love for photography stems from my dad's love for taking pictures. He uses a "photo journalistic" style. It's really a disapear-from-the-table-at-family-functions-and-reappear-at-random

-with-a-camera style.

I think I annoy some people with my "That would be a great picture" saying. If I could have my Rebel around my neck at all times I would be the happiest person in the world. Although I would resemble a tourist everywhere I go, and I don't like that very much.
