I shoot entirely on 35mm film, and entirely with analog Nikon compact Fs.

Photos are in three series/eras:

The first from 2004-2012 I was living in New Jersey and shot in New Jersey and New York City. In this era I had an FM2n main, with an FM10 backup. This era ends in 2012 when I leave my FM2 on the train coming back from NYC. Out there is one lost roll in that FM2, final fate is entirely unknown. The only thing I really remember is that it was loaded with black and white film, and had both a ND filter and polarizer on the 50mm lens at time of loss.

The second is 2005 US Army deployment to Germany, I took my camera with me and did photography in my spare time. The time overlaps with the first, but is presented as a distinct series or era, because its here I really learned to shoot. There is also a lot of the distinct architecture of Europe. A lot of it is a great travel log and captures the beauty of Germany, and some pics of Belgium.

Third period is Los Angeles 2024 to current. Having moved to Los Angeles for entirely unrelated reasons, I found huge film photography culture thriving in LA. I saw the right price on a Nikon FE2 with a fresh CLA, and got a new 50mm, and got back involved with photography. This is my current era
